The Gold Standard of International Sports Turf
When the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Erbil SC announced the comprehensive renovation of the iconic Franso Hariri Stadium, Jenbli Company was selected to deliver a pitch that meets the highest international standards. As the second-largest stadium in Iraq, this project required a level of precision and technology found only in the world’s top football leagues.
Our Work Included:
- Hybrid Turf Implementation: We replaced the traditional field with a high-performance Hybrid Turf system. This technology combines natural grass with synthetic fibers to ensure the pitch remains perfectly level, durable, and green even under the pressure of back-to-back professional matches.
- Precision Seeding: Using our advanced JB Seeds & Fertilizer line, we selected a grass variety specifically for its high-density growth and deep-green color, ensuring the stadium looks spectacular on international television broadcasts.
- Smart Nutrient Management: To support the heavy usage by Erbil SC and the Iraq National Team, we implemented a custom fertilization program designed to strengthen the grass blades against “divoting” and heavy foot traffic.
The Result: A world-class playing surface that provides the speed, bounce, and safety required for professional athletes. This project solidifies Jenbli Company’s reputation as the region’s leader in Advanced Sports Agriculture.
